Dear TBF Friends & Clients,
The COVID-19 Pandemic is something that none of us have experienced in our lifetimes and has greatly shaken our world. It has caused great unrest and uncertainty for many. This pandemic is causing the church to re-think ministry since we cannot congregate together. It is wonderful to see so many churches continuing to worship by streaming their services. Many are also having Bible Studies via Facebook live or Zoom. This is proof that the church is not a building but so much more. It is God’s people scattered, ministering to those in their communities.
We are all fighting a battle against this virus and I pray you and your family are staying up-to-date with the information given by state and national leaders in an effort to stop the spread of COVID-19. The TBF and the TBMB have taken steps to prevent the spread of the virus. The TBMB Church Support Center and our offices are closed until further notice. However, the TBF staff is working part-time in the office and remotely.
We are still here to help you and your church. Know that we are praying daily for God to do mighty work against this virus. We are confident that while the world seems to be in chaos, God is still in control. It is in times like these that all of us should not “be shaken” but hold on “our Rock” found in Psalm 62:2, “He alone is my rock and my salvation, my stronghold; I will never be shaken.” God is our Rock and if we hold on to Him, He will carry us through this crisis.
We continue to serve all Tennessee Baptists. If you need us, please call us at 615-371-2029, Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 4:00pm. You can also email us at email@example.com
We are praying for you!
